The retreat property

15 acres of wild beauty in the mountains of Montana. This is the home and sacred space of Hy and Dani Boltz. Originally the primary home, but now a magical retreat haven that they get to share with the world. The house and cabin were built with healing in mind blending together natural elements, well-loved recycled material, and creative vision. This off-grid retreat property is perfect for anyone needing to reconnect and refuel in a quiet, nurturing space. Surrounded by mountains, forested greenery, a pond and creek, you will find palpable peace and simplicity here.

Your Retreat Hosts

Lindsay King and Dani Boltz

Dani Boltz

a trusted retreat leader, massage therapist, yoga teacher, and nature lover fusing together a passion for embodied living and creative expression.

Hi, I’m Dani Boltz. I’ve been leading retreats for the past seven years and they have turned out to be one of my favorite things that I do.

I believe that our stories are what connect us, especially the harder parts of them, and I think there is so much power in coming together as group to share, heal, laugh, cry, and connect in an open-hearted way. To me, these retreats are a source of seasonal revitalizing; a kind of self-care maintenance that I couldn’t live without.

I love traveling and hosting retreats in new unique places, however I often come back to hosting out of my home and business, Northwest Montana Retreat. The healing I’ve experienced here is unlike anywhere else and I attribute that to the beautiful nature-infused home my husband built, the natural beauty that surrounds us, and the simple everyday rituals I’ve woven into my life here.

At our retreats you can expect to see me making every corner beautiful, constantly offering you a comfy drink, and probably throwing out some goofy ass faces and weird moves just to make you laugh. I can’t wait to be your new cozy friend!

Lindsay King

a fine artist, energy worker, and teacher who’s work bridges creativity and spirituality, inspiring reflection and connection through intuitive art

Translucent layers, quiet delicate details, and unexpected contrasts invite viewers to reflect and be still with Lindsay's artwork. Each marking, no matter how complex or simple, is charged with intent and purpose. Using materials sourced from nature itself she draws inspiration from the unseen facets of ourselves, symbolism, intuition and source energy.

Lindsay explores themes within spiritual philosophies and her own meditations. Intuitive painting is her primary method. Through play, contemplation, writing, reading, time with nature, observation of the human experience, and an ever evolving mindfulness practice, she has embraced this form of work. Her mission is to create meaningful paintings that carry the energy of love and compassion for the journey of life itself.

Lindsay has enjoyed living in the PNW for over 20 years with her husband and beloved pets. Often sailing on the Columbia River with them.  Her work has been displayed in several local wineries in the Walla Walla Valley, various boutiques in Portland Oregon, and is represented by Seattle Art Source in Seattle. Her work is also viewable and available on her website.
